Placement & Setup
Where should I place the trailer?
The trailer needs to be parked on a firm, level surface — a gravel driveway, parking lot, or packed ground all work well. Avoid soft grass or muddy areas, as the trailer’s weight can cause it to sink. We’ll work with you ahead of your event to identify the best placement on your property.
Ideally, place the trailer close to your event area but slightly out of the main flow of foot traffic — guests should be able to find it easily without it being a focal point. A distance of 50–100 feet from the main gathering area tends to work well.
How much space does the trailer need?
You’ll need a clear, accessible path for delivery — wide enough for our truck and trailer to pull in and maneuver. A standard driveway or lane (at least 10–12 feet wide) is typically sufficient. If your venue has any access challenges — narrow gates, low-hanging trees, or soft ground — let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
What utilities does the trailer require?
The trailer requires both a water source and an electrical hookup. We provide 100 feet of hose and 100 feet of electric cord, so your water spigot and electrical outlet need to be within those distances of where the trailer will be parked. A standard outdoor spigot and a standard 110V/20-amp outdoor outlet are all that’s needed.

Do I need a septic hookup or a holding tank?
No septic hookup is needed. Our trailers have a self-contained waste holding tank. We handle all waste removal after your event — you don’t need to do a thing.
Booking & Logistics
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding and festival season (May through October). Summer weekends fill up quickly. That said, we’re happy to try to accommodate last-minute requests if availability allows — just give us a call.
What is included in the rental?
Every rental includes delivery, setup, and pickup. The trailer comes fully stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. We provide 100 feet of water hose and 100 feet of electric cord. After your event, we handle all waste removal — everything is taken care of so you can focus on your guests.
How far do you travel?
We’re based in Columbus, Indiana and serve the entire central Indiana region. We regularly deliver to Indianapolis, Bloomington, Greenwood, Seymour, Nashville (Brown County), and surrounding counties. For events further afield, contact us — we’re happy to discuss extended-range delivery for the right event.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please contact us directly to discuss cancellation or rescheduling. We understand that plans change — especially with outdoor events and weather — and we’ll always do our best to work with you.
The Trailer Itself
What does the inside of the trailer look like?
Our trailer features separate men’s and women’s sides, each with private stalls, flush porcelain toilets, framed mirrors, decorative wall art, and real stone countertops with stainless steel sinks. Is the trailer climate controlled?
Yes. The trailer has heating and air conditioning, so your guests will be comfortable regardless of Indiana’s notoriously unpredictable weather. This is one of the biggest differences between a luxury restroom trailer and a standard porta potty.
How many guests can the trailer accommodate?
A general rule of thumb is one toilet per 25–50 guests for a standard event. For a 4-hour event with 100–150 guests, our trailer is typically sufficient. For larger events or longer durations, contact us and we’ll help you determine whether one trailer meets your needs or whether additional units are recommended.
Is the trailer ADA accessible?
Please contact us to discuss ADA accessibility needs for your specific event. We want to make sure all of your guests are accommodated comfortably.
What is the difference between a luxury restroom trailer and a porta potty?
Night and day. A standard porta potty is a plastic box with a chemical toilet — no running water, no climate control, no mirror, no sink. A Pretty Potties luxury restroom trailer has flush toilets, running water, stone countertops, decorative mirrors, wall art, climate control, real lighting, and hardwood-look flooring. Your guests will actually want to use it.
